Apologia Science

We are using the 'Exploring Creation with' series from Apologia.
This semester we decided to study Astronomy.
One of the first projects was to build our own solar system.  We are doing science this year with some friends and I was lucky enough to be able to do this project at their house. (Mainly because there was A LOT of glue and kids!)
We decided to make the planets that we had seen on pinterest the original post is here.

I took a few pictures of our afternoon.

It was great fun. I don't think that we got our sizes completely correct, but we did our best.

This is how ours turned out.

We decided to hang them on the ceiling in our sun-room. Sorry it's not the best picture it's very sunny so it was hard to get a good angle.
