Kwik Stix - The Perfect Stocking Stuffer and giveaway

Have you ever wandered around the store looking for those perfect stocking stuffers for your kids. I have different ages of kids and so I love it when I can buy a variety of one thing that everyone loves!

I have raved about my love of Kwik Stixs  by The Pencil Grip Inc before but I have been recently using some amazing new varietys! Neons and Metalix. We love painting but I hate the paint mess that comes with regular paint! My kids love them and we have had some great fun with them but for this review I wanted to play with them.

I used a mixture of the sticks that I have and used a canvas. I wasn't sure how the canvas would work but I was thrilled with the result!

Now I am not an artist by any stretch of the imagination but I love sunflowers and wanted to paint something fun and bright. The look these give on the canvas is really fun. Of course the biggest plus is that I did this with no mess, no bottle of water to blend colors, and no wet soggy paintbrushes. The colors can be used quickly after each other because they drive super fast. The inside of the sunflower was layered easily without having to wait. You can't quite see on this picture but I highlighted the sunflower and the sky with metalix gold and blue! When the light catches it is amazing. Boo has already claim this for her bedroom!

You used to just be able to buy these fun paints online, but TODAY they became available in Target and Target.com  This is huge and will make adding them to your Christmas list so easy. In fact I am going to get some in for birthday presents - the kids and parents would love them!

So now you have read how much I love these, you can have the chance to win some for your own! The Pencil Grip Inc are offering one reader the chance to win a six pack of Metalix Kwik Stixs and a 6 pack of regular Kwik Stixs. So make sure to enter below!

  1. I really like the effect of the Kwik Stix on canvas. I had not thought of that as a possibility. If I win, I might try that. :)

    1. We love using canvas - I was a little concerned but I loved the result too - and dried just as fast as paper!
